Volvo extends LS-DYNA usage to 5,000 licenses

The Swedish subsidiary of DYNAmore GmbH - DYNAmore Nordic AB – has announced the expansion of the crash simulation software LS-DYNA at the Volvo Car Corporation to 5,000 licenses. Based in the town of Linköping in Central Sweden, DYNAmore Nordic has opened a new branch in Göteborg in order to provide intensive support to Volvo and other customers located there.

The Swedish subsidiary of DYNAmore GmbH - DYNAmore Nordic AB – has announced the expansion of the crash simulation software LS-DYNA at the Volvo Car Corporation to 5,000 licenses. Based in the town of Linköping in Central Sweden, DYNAmore Nordic has opened a new branch in Göteborg in order to provide intensive support to Volvo and other customers located there.

“LS-DYNA is our biggest crash simulation application and the increase to 5,000 LS-DYNA licenses is a major stride towards achieving our 2020 R&D vision in the field of passive safety”, said Anders Djärv, Head of Passive Safety Calculation at the Volvo Car Corporation.
