The GACM 2011 conference is being organized by the Technical University in Dresden and will take place from August 31 to September 2, 2011. At the event, various subjects within the area of computational mechanics will be addressed. This conference is a great opportunity for young scientists to present their work.

DYNAmore is supporting the event as a sponsor and is organizing a mini-symposium on the subject 'Inverse problems and optimization in industrial applications' together with Prof. Fabian Duddeck from the Technical University Munich. In the course of this mini-symposium 15 presentations will be held on the subject of optimization and related topics. The majority of these presentations are the result of cooperation of several universities and industrial partners.

About DYNAmore
DYNAmore is dedicated to support engineers to solve non-linear mechanical problems numerically. The tools to model and solve the problems are the finite element software LS-DYNA as solver and LS-OPT for optimization. DYNAmore sells, teaches, supports, and co-develops the software and provides engineering services.
